❓ Common Questions

Q: What if I put out wrong garbage?

A: Won’t be collected. Warning sticker placed. Take back, sort correctly, put out on proper day.

Q: Where to buy garbage bags?

A: Convenience stores, supermarkets, 100-yen shops. Use transparent/semi-transparent bags (¥100-300/pack).

Q: Can I dispose outside collection hours?

A: No. Must put out morning of collection day by 8 AM. No night before, no late disposal.

Q: How to dispose cooking oil?

A: Pour cooled oil into bottle or use solidifying agents. Dispose as burnable garbage. Never pour down drain.

Q: Can I dispose TVs/refrigerators?

A: No. “4 major appliances” require special recycling. Contact retailer or recycling service (¥3,000-5,000 fee).
